Students will learn about Kenyan (and African) culture through storytelling and a mystery game experience. Students will also learn crafting techniques such as sewing, puppet making, and upcycling!
As a special treat, local author Phyl Campbell has created a book of short stories focused on textile arts and African culture. Each camper will receive a signed copy of Just Sew Stories and will get to spend time with the author!
Camp is best suited for ages 6-12, but older and younger campers can be accommodated most weeks with no-sew options and alternative projects.
Each camp will be TUESDAY through Friday from 9-12.
Camp fee is $120 per week for the first child, $100 per week for each additional sibling/friend
Students can have extra independent craft time (12-1) for an extra fee ($50 per week)
They will also need to bring a sack lunch if taking advantage of this opportunity.
Space is limited to 8 campers per week, so click on a date to reserve your child's spot today!
